Loon Book is a silent graphic novel following a young loon character exploring the woodlands of Maine in search of wildlife and a "spirit of the forest." The comic is a celebration of natural spaces, creative expression, and the Maine woodlands themselves.

Loon Book was created in memorium of my Gran, Faith Towle, who passed away in January 2023. Gran was a fantastic artist and storyteller who adored the Maine woods with all her heart.

This project was originally published as a short run of alternatively-bound "flag books."
